OUR TOWN, OUR MEMBERS

About 35 members gathered to celebrate members who contribute so much to our community through their work in the non- profit sector as staff, board members, volunteers and all-round supporters.

Saturday, January 18, 2014, 12:00-2:30 p.m. Oasis Senior Center, 420 Soares Av., Orcutt

We learned about the work of such varied non-profits as The Natural History Museum, The Braille Institute, The Good Samaritan Shelter and The Santa Maria Arts Council that as represented by our panel of four speakers.

After hearing from our panel, members were invited to share a bit about their involvement with and contributions to local non-profits.

The luncheon will start at noon at the Oasis Senior Center, with a “box lunch” catered by VTC Services.  A lovely day, shared by all.
