Our September meeting, held this year at the Casa Grande Mobile Estates Clubhouse, was well attended by our members, who enjoyed a “Welcome Back Continental Breakfast  catered by our program chairs.  This first meeting in the Fall brings together new members, board members, general members, Tech Trek recipients and their families.  This is when we get to hear from the Tech Trek girls about their summer experience.  The girls bring posters with pictures and descriptions of the classes they were able to attend and share stories of their adventures.  It is always fun and interesting to hear their tales of their classes, the experiments they perform, the fun they have, the new friends they make.  This year we were also fortunate to have a previous Tech Trek attendee return and share her experience of being a junior counselor with the program.  Our branch has such a deep affinity for this Tech Trek program, and it is always a delight to see them grow with the experience.
